More Information about the Performers

Caroline Robinson, from Greenville, S.C., entered the Curtis Institute of Music in 2009 and studies with renowned organist Alan Morrison. In 2011 she was a top prizewinner at Oundle for Organists, part of the Oundle International Festival in Northamptonshire, England, and received first prizes in the West Chester Tenth Annual University International Organ Competition, and the Eleventh Albert Schweitzer National Organ Competition. In the fall of 2010 she assumed the position of organ scholar at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Philadelphia. She previously held the post of assistant organist at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville, S.C. Ms. Robinson began her organ studies at the age of twelve under the tutelage of Adam Pajan. For three years she attended the Teen Summer Arts Pipe Organ Camp at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, where she studied with Mr. Morrison and Peter Richard Conte on the Wanamaker Grand Organ at Macy's. She has also received organ coaching from Wilma Jensen, David Boe, James David Christie, and Thomas Bara.

Patrick Kreeger, from Greenville, N.C., entered the Curtis Institute of Music in 2008 and studies with renowned organist Alan Morrison. Mr. Kreeger's musical studies began on piano at age three. He started organ lessons at age thirteen and participated in the American Guild of Organists' Pipe Organ Encounter in New York City in 2003. In 2010 he took the top prize at Oundle for Organists, part of the Oundle International Festival in Northamptonshire, England, and in won first prizes in the 2009 Augustana/Reuter National Undergraduate Organ Playing Competition in Denver, and in the 2008 East Carolina University Young Artist Competition for Pre-College Organists.  Mr. Kreeger has performed twice at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall as the first-prizewinner in the 2009 American Protégé and 2007 Bradshaw & Buono international piano competitions. He has performed with the North Carolina Symphony, Eastern Youth Orchestra, and Barton College/Wilson Symphony Orchestra and has served on the faculty of the University of North Florida piano camp and Kimmel Center pipe organ camp. Prior to entering Curtis, Mr. Kreeger studied organ with Colin Andrews, Jack Mitchener, and Jim Wood. He has studied piano with Barbara Broach, Gerson Yessin, and Henry Doskey, and studies privately with Susan Starr.
