On March 19 & 20, 2011, the North American Clivia Society (NACS) symposium and show will be held at Longwood Gardens in a joint venture between NACS and Longwood. National and international speakers on a broad range of Clivia topics are being contacted to participate. Those growers wanting to enter the show, who do not live near Longwood, are invited to ship plants, umbels, and florets to Longwood for processing. A reasonable amount of plant material can be accommodated, so register early. Registration begins October 2010. Longwood plans to release the first Clivia introduction from their 30-year breeding program at this event.
