Conservatory Garden Path Assistant

Function: Maintain horticultural display in Longwood's Conservatory Garden Path

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Groom plants, including deadheading, watering, pruning, and replacing
• Assist with daily and seasonal display changes
• Assist with seasonal display preparation, including Christmas tree lighting
• Interaction with Longwood visitors

Requirements/Expectations:

• Willingness to interact with visitors, students, and staff.
• Punctual and dependable; able to work in the mornings.
• Able to lift 30 lbs.
• Complete required orientation and training.
• Follow Longwood Gardens' policies, procedures, and standards.
• Purchase and wear safety shoes.

Time Required:

• One day a week, at least four hours a day between 7 am and 2:30 pm.
