Lectures, Courses and Workshops

In 2009, Longwood will showcase pollination and its importance to horticulture. You will see programming throughout the gardens that will enhance your understanding of this natural process. Continuing Education classes that are associated with the pollination theme are identified by the bee symbol.

Look for this reminder as you select your classes for 2009.

For 50 years, students have been enjoying our beautiful living classroom. Whether you are a beginner, a professional or an avid gardener, you can "grow" your skills and knowledge through our classes, courses and workshops.

Our core courses focus on the essentials of growing plants, using them in your landscape, maintaining a garden and using cut flowers in designs.

Our themed courses highlight topics of the season. You will find classes to help you enjoy spring blooms, orchids, florals, containers for outdoor small spaces and more!

Longwood Gardens is committed to the principle of equal educational opportunities without discrimination by race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, presence of legally protected disability, or any other legally protected status.
