Data Management
Function:
Organize and manage computerized data relevant to the operation of various Longwood divisions and groups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Longwood staff in organizing and managing data, address lists, correspondence, etc.
- Perform data entry and merge date files in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word
- Establish and maintain address lists and merged correspondence
- Manage data for special projects such as: Bird Survey, Longwood Chimes Index, etc.
Requirements/Expectations:
- Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and e-mail use
- Strong verbal skills and ability to interact comfortably with Longwood staff
- Complete required orientation and training
- Follow Longwood Gardens' policies, procedures, and standards
- This volunteer position can be shared by more than one volunteer
Time Required:
- Weekly hours, depending on need
- Work can be done at Longwood as well as on a home computer
