Floral Design Core course
This course expands your skills and gives an introduction to historical and international floral design. Each week you will learn one to two different design styles. These include: naturalistic, parallel systems, Biedermeier, Phoenix, new convention, and waterfall. Jane not only demonstrates each style, she teaches the elements and principles that guide it. You will leave every week with one or more designs you created using newly learned skills. Come amaze yourself!
Please bring floral scissors to each session. Containers for the first class will be provided and a list of containers to be brought by students for the next five classes will be distributed.
Instructor: Jane Godshalk is a gardener and plant lover who has become a passionate flower arranger. She won a Silver Medal at the 2004 Chelsea Flower Show and has won awards at several other shows.
