Festival of Fountains

May 24 to September 1, 2008

The outdoor waterlily display comes alive with more than 100 types of day and night-blooming tropical waterlilies, hardy day-bloomers, lotus, and other aquatic plants. Delights abound in the Rose and Topiary Gardens—with scented blooms and the precision geometry of clipped yew. The Flower Garden Walk overflows with annuals during the summer, and the deep calm of forest paths offer a cool respite. 

And, don't forget that Longwood offers special events year-round throughout the Gardens! Festival of Fountains features three weekly performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, in genres ranging from theater and dance to music from around the world.
