Fireworks and Fountains 2010

Get ready for an evening of oohs and ahhs, as Longwood presents spectacular fireworks and fountains shows guaranteed to make your summer memorable.

This year, relive the British Invasion and celebrate one of the most popular groups of all time in Ladies & Gentlemen . . . The Beatles .

Favorite American classics come to life in Gershwin Gala , featuring the unforgettable works of George Gershwin, including selections from An American in Paris, and Porgy & Bess.

Finally, salute America and Longwood founder Pierre S. du Pont with Founder’s Favorites, a dazzling program featuring an eclectic mix of patriotic, organ and classical music.

Fireworks & Fountains shows are rain or shine. However, if the weather is dangerous (high winds or lightning) at the time of the show, the show will be cancelled and re-scheduled, typically for the next evening. The decision to cancel the show is made 15 minutes prior to show time.

On fireworks evenings, chairs are allowed in to the Gardens after 3:00 pm. At that time, visitors can reserve their spots for viewing the fireworks. For the best viewing experience, we recommend bringing a lightweight folding chair. Limited space available for blankets.

Tickets are on sale now online, in the Visitor Center, or by calling 610-388-5200. Please note that on the day of the show, tickets will be available online or onsite only (no phone orders on day of show).
