Fountain Schedule
Main Fountain Garden
April 15–October 18, 2009
This five-acre hydraulic masterpiece runs continuously from 9:00 am–5:45 pm daily. Beginning May 15, special 5-minute shows delight visitors at 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 pm.
Half-hour illuminated shows set to classical, patriotic and popular music on come to life on most Thursday, Friday, & Saturday evenings at 9:15 pm during Festival of Fountains (May 23–September 6, 2009).
On illuminated show evenings, the fountains stay on continuously from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm.
Please note that the fountain schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to severe weather or special events.
Open Air Theatre Fountains
May 1, 2009–January 10, 2010
The Open Air Theatre Fountains run from May 1 through January 10, featuring five-minute daytime shows set to music.
From May 1 through September 6, enjoy shows at 10:00 & 11:00 am, 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 pm.
From September 7 through October 18, enjoy shows at 10:00 & 11:00 am, 1:00 & 3:00 pm.
From October 19–November 22, enjoy shows at 10:00 & 11:00 am, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 & 4:55 pm.
Throughout the Christmas season, beginning November 26, dancing fountain shows are set to holiday music once every hour from 10:00 am–4:00 pm. From 5:00–9:00 pm, continuous shows illuminate the night with vibrant colors and a glittering backdrop of snowflakes.
Italian Water Garden

Experience a piece of Europe with this water delight that runs from 9:00 am–5:45 pm daily, and until dusk on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings during the Festival of Fountains.
Eye of Water, Waterfall, and Hillside Garden Flume
April 15–October 18, 2009
These special water features run from 9:00 am–5:45 pm daily. On Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings during the Festival of Fountains, these features stay on continuously from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm.
Outdoor Waterlily Display (accessed via the Conservatory)
June 1–Mid-October
Tucked into a protected courtyard, this outdoor display features more than 100 types of day and night-blooming aquatic plants from all over the world. Peak bloom occurs mid-July through September (depending on weather).
Sylvan Fountain in Peirce's Park

This wooded oasis runs from 9:00 am–5:00 pm daily, and until dusk on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Peirce's Woods Brook and Example Garden Fountain in the Idea Garden

Flower Garden Fountains

Be delighted by fountains featured throughout our outdoor gardens. These water displays run from 9:00 am-5:00 pm daily, and until dusk on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Conservatory Water Features
Year-round
Our numerous indoor water features are open from 9:00 am until closing, daily. (Please note that the indoor water features are sometimes transformed or hidden by temporary horticultural displays.)
