Wedding Photos

Weddings, wedding receptions, and religious ceremonies are not permitted at Longwood Gardens.

Wedding photographs, however, may be taken at Longwood provided the following guidelines are observed:

  • Wedding photography is permitted only in the outdoor gardens between 9:00 am and closing, never indoors in the Conservatory, even if it is raining.
  • Tripods or lights may not be used at any time.
  • Everyone, including the photographer, must purchase an admission ticket to enter the Gardens.
  • Rice or confetti may not be thrown, and food and beverages are not permitted in the Gardens.
  • The photos are for personal use only, not for advertising wedding gowns, products, or services.
  • The photography session must not interfere with the enjoyment of Longwood's other guests.

It is not necessary to inform Longwood of your plans in advance. You may download, print and fill out the permission form in advance. In order to view the file, you will need to download Adobe Reader (if you do not already have it installed on your computer). Get Adobe Reader.

Upon arrival and after purchasing admission tickets, proceed to the Visitor Services Desk to hand in the form. You may also fill it out onsite. Then you may enter the Gardens.
