Garden Railway Assistant

Function: Assist with Garden Railway, during Longwood’s GardenFest.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist GardenFest Committee members with installation, operation, and takedown of the Garden Railway display in the Idea Garden during GardenFest

Requirements/Expectations:

  • Record visitor attendance to Garden Railway
  • Distribute Garden Railway brochures
  • Assist railway designer and Longwood staff in planning for railway
  • Assist staff in scheduling and prearranging installation and takedown
  • Assist with operation of railway
  • Assist in setup and takedown of railway
  • Follow Longwood Gardens’ policies, procedures, and standards

Time Required:

  • Regular participation as arranged with GardenFest Committee
  • Particular participation during month-long festival (September)
