The Longwood Story
Designed to introduce the Longwood heritage and tell the story of how one man's vision turned Longwood into the world's premier horticultural display garden. This tour is perfect for first-time visitors. Our guided tours are available at 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm.

Visitors choosing a self-guided tour will be given an easy-to-follow guide map of the Gardens, allowing the group to go at its own pace and experience the areas of the Gardens that specifically interest them. Bring your cell phones and access the free, self-guided Cell Phone Audio Tour for the Conservatory and outdoor garden areas. The call is free but your cell phone plan provisions and minutes apply. The Cell Phone Audio tour features more than two hours of recorded information that you may access at your own pace.

For self-guided tours, reservations are preferred, and payment by cash, check, or major credit card is due on arrival. One payment per group is requested. We regret that we do not have a will-call window.
