Please excuse us as we work on the new East Conservatory Plaza. Watch for path closings and more updates to come.
Longwood Gardens has commissioned renowned landscape architect Kim Wilkie to create his first terraced lawn design in the U.S. for the new East Conservatory Plaza. Scheduled for completion in fall 2010, the project's imaginative design features undulating grass terraces that are integrated into the landscape. The dynamic gathering space will welcome guests to Longwood's historic conservatory, as well as host educational talks and horticulture demonstrations.
The Southeastern PA Orchid Society will host an intimate dinner in Longwood's grand conservatory during the International Orchid Show & Sale on March 27 from 6:00-11:00 pm. Dine on delectable cuisine, stroll the fragrant conservatory and dance the night away. For tickets, call SEPOS at 610-964-0807.
