The Longwood Gardens International Organ Competition

An unprecedented event featuring Longwood’s 10,010-pipe Aeolian organ, a panel of distinguished judges, and live performances by the world’s top young organists.

Application available June 1.

The Longwood International Organ Competition will take place June 18-23, 2013.

Organists from around the globe will compete on The Longwood Organ for the Pierre S. du Pont First Prize. Preliminary and final rounds will be held in the magnificent ballroom at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The Longwood Organ is among the world’s largest concert organs, with 146 ranks and 10,010 pipes.

Only the first 100 applicants will be accepted. Competition is limited to individuals 18-30 years old. Application deadline is November 1, 2012.
