All applicants must have completed the Application Form. Download application. Applications must be submitted with the following support materials:
Application Submission
Completed Application Forms and supporting materials (resume, biography, passport copy, and photos) were submitted electronically to: organcompetition@longwoodgardens.org. Only the first 100 complete application forms were admitted to the audition round of the Competition, and were subject to approval by the audition jury.
CD Submission
Auditions were placed by CD submission only.
Following application submission, an audio recording must also be submitted for preliminary selection of candidates. The recording must be sent as an audio CD, with separate tracks for each work, and accompanied by the official CD Submission Form.
Audio recordings of the specified program (see Repertoire) must be complete performances of the works, by the applicant, without any editing. Applicant must play straight through each piece. The preliminary selection of candidates will be a completely anonymous process, so there should be no spoken comments or any other means of identification on the audio recordings. You should keep one copy of your recording in case your CD is lost in transit.
A witness signature (member of a professional body, member of the clergy, or a municipal official) will be required, attesting that the CD is truly the candidate’s work and has not been edited.
Audio CD recordings, accompanied by the CD Submission Form, were mailed to:
