with Jon Cox
Focus on nature and the season’s abundant pollinators in this hands-on digital photography workshop instructed by a professional nature photographer. With the use of a macro lens students can capture the often unnoticed garden residents: butterflies, bees, and bugs. The first week includes a review of digital camera basics, composition, and materials unique to close-up photography. Students will practice these techniques in the gardens using digital cameras and macro lenses. Week two begins with a critique of each participant’s images by Jon, followed by more practice in the gardens.
