Plant Trials Evaluator

Function: Collect data in Longwood's Research Division plant trials

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Observe plants growing in the plant trials
• Record observations
• Enter observations into a computer database
• Assist in the preparation of reports
• Complete required orientation and training
• Follow Longwood Gardens' policies, procedures, and standards
• This position may be held by more than one volunteer

Requirements/Expectations:

• Familiarity with basic functions of personal computers
• Willingness to work independently
• Willingness to work outdoors
• Purchase and wear safety shoes
• Minimum three hours per week
