Propagation Assistant

Function: Assist with seed collection, and seed and cutting propagation

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect seed and cuttings
• Pre-treating seed and cuttings prior to planting
• Sow seed and stick cuttings
• Transplanting seedlings and rooted cuttings

Requirements/Expectations:

• Understanding of seed and cutting propagation
• Complete required orientation and training
• Follow Longwood Gardens' policies, procedures, and standards
• Purchase and wear safety shoes

Time Required:

• 3-10.5 hours per week on weekdays
