Scout Programs

Boy Scout Merit Badge Workshops

Boy Scouts can work toward earning the Electricity Merit Badge and/or the Insect Study Merit Badge while enjoying the world’s premier horticultural display garden.  This informative presentation will be led by one of Longwood’s experts.  The presentation will be followed by an opportunity to explore the 350 acre property which includes a forest area and managed meadow area. 
Scouts need to provide their own books to be signed by Longwood’s Merit Badge Counselor.

Webelos Forester Activity Badge Day

Webelos can earn the Forester Activity Badge while enjoying the world’s premier horticultural display garden, featuring more than 1,000 acres of gardens that range from exotic flowers to insect eating plants to managed meadows.

*This is a group event.  A den or pack must be made up of a minimum of 5 scouts to register for this event.

Cost:

$5 per scout, $12 per adult (1 pack/den leader admitted free per group)
