Slide Manager
Function: Organize, label, and file incoming and returned slides.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, label, and file slides
- Organize backlog of slides
- Assist patrons in locating and checking out slides
- Keep accurate inventory of slides and slide supplies
- Help develop and create a web index of the slide collection
- Carry out other tasks as required under the direction of the Library Assistant
Requirements/Expectations:
- Ability to identify plants, areas, and events around Longwood Gardens
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (requires general PC knowledge)
- Complete required orientation and training
- Follow Longwood Gardens policies, procedures, and standards
- Familiarity with the Longwood Gardens Library Procedures Manual
Time Required:
- Four hours per week
- This position may be filled by more than one volunteer
