Calling all future scientists! Do you want to be an archeologist...a geologist...biologist or how about a chemist? You can be all this and more in this NEW fun filled camp! Go digging for dinosaurs, create your own fossil, erupt a volcano and mix up some fizzy potions. We'll throw in some adventure and go spelunking in your own cave creation. There's so much to explore in this exciting week of camp. Offered 9:00am-noon on July 27-31. Program cost of $175.
A week of fabulous hands-on fun...Get elbow deep in botany, oceanography and space. Let's bug out as we investigate our 6 legged friends. We'll be out of this world with different themes every day. Offered 9:00am-noon on August 3-6 (4 day camp). Program cost of $140.
"Hey there, future Science Explorers, do we have the camp for you!" Join our team of curious tiny-techs as we explore a new theme each day. We will create an edible ocean, experiment with a "magic" magnet bottle, investigate butterflies, discover how birds adapt to their environments and make colorful sidewalk chalk! Offered 9:00am-noon on August 10-14. Program cost of $175.
Explore your big backyard called Earth! Grow your own insect eating plants, get an up close look at how the food chain works with an owl pellet dissection, become a designer when we make our own natural tie dyes from things that grow around us, harness solar power to cook a yummy snack in your own solar oven, and explore weather and how it affects our world! All this and more in our specially designed earth guard series at Longwood Gardens focusing on the earth and what we can do to use it’s wonderful natural resources in a positive way!
