Winter Escape & Orchid Extravaganza

January 19 to March 31, 2008

Longwood is transformed into a lush oasis as thousands of orchid blooms fill the Conservatory. Innovative displays, including a spectacular Living Wall of Orchids are featured. In March, early bulbs begin to bloom outside in the Oak Knoll area and millions of bulbs, including winter aconites, glory-of-the-snow, and Siberian squills bloom throughout the Gardens.

And, don't forget that Longwood offers special events year-round throughout the Gardens! Winter Escape features Valentine's Day and Easter Buffets, a Ballroom concert series, the annual International Orchid Show and Sale, and much more! Visit our events page to view our current and upcoming educational and performing arts events.

Please note that actual bloom times may vary depending on weather. The list of flowering highlights is subject to change.
