    January through March

    Experience winter’s beauty under glass, as you wander a warm, colorful oasis in our grand Historic Main Conservatory. Take a brisk walk through the  hushed realm of the Meadow Garden, with its sweeping vistas of muted hues and swaying textures.

    March through May

    Embrace the season of renewal as our gardens awaken. Walk through sweeping blankets of color as millions of tiny geophytes emerge, while flowering trees animate with delicate petals. Brilliant tulips, fragrant wisteria, bleeding hearts, and lilies will delight as they sway in time with the sun.

    May through October

    Our Festival of Fountains features the gardens at their summer best, both indoors and out. Explore the expansive Meadow Garden or enjoy a shady stroll in Peirce’s Woods. Bring younger guests to explore our treehouses or relax on the rolling lawns of the Large Lake.

    Wander the paths outside through hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights—then, warm your hands and your heart in our Historic Main Conservatory, where magnificently decorated trees, thousands of poinsettias, and fragrant flowers transform Pierre S. du Pont’s fabled glass house into a holiday wonderland.
