Longwood's Terrace Restaurant picked up the top prize at the Kennett Square Mushroom Festival for its famous Mushroom Soup. A visitor favorite, the mushroom soup is served daily at the Terrace Restaurant.

Choose from an ever-changing selection of fresh local salads, soups, sandwiches, hot entrees, pastries, children's meals and more in the Café . Enjoy your meal in one of three rooms: "The Lodge," with a central fireplace and expansive views of Longwood; "The Founder's Room," honoring Founder Pierre du Pont and his many contributions to the Gardens; and "The Gallery," showcasing artwork created by students in Longwood's Continuing Education classes.
Please note that the café will be closed for renovations from January 25 through February 5. During this time, soup, sandwiches and other lite fare will be available in the Lower Level Terrace Restaurant from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.

The café serves a full menu 11:00 am–3:00 pm.
A limited menu is available from 10:00–11:00 am
& 3:00–4:00 pm.
Food service is available every day of the year. The Terrace Restaurant is conveniently located a short walk from the Conservatory and features both Cafe and Full Service Dining. Special Buffets and Dining Events coincide with holidays, special performances, and fireworks. Special options are also available for Groups. Gardens admission is required for restaurant access.
Visitors who wish to bring their own food and beverages can enjoy a picnic from spring through fall in Longwood's Picnic Area located outside the main part of the Gardens (accessible only by car or motorcoach).
